For Chi ha paura..? : Global Identity Collection.
A bracelet made of industrial diamond and plastic.
The proposal aims to establish a possible remains, or a potential archeological artefact, of our time reflected through the use of two materials that occupy the opposite ends of our cultural material spectrum: Diamond and plastic. Despite the apparent differences, they both endure time and remain on this planet long after we are gone, bound to be discovered by later generations. We were interested in the relationship we form with the natural world through objects, as well as our contribution to the natural world, which shapes the future landscape and the generations that inhabits it. Diamonds are forever and so are plastics, both forming future artefacts from the Anthropocene era we live today.
